The Lindlich Family in a Christmas mood!

To celebrate science, enlightenment and the end of the year, the Lindlich lab gathered for a mulled-wine fuelled “Pathday”.

This event format originally started in the Bar-Even lab in Potsdam. The day comprises of a presentation from each member of the group (regardless of Bachelor student or PostDoc) presenting an own idea for a metabolic pathway (hence the name) or any other scientific idea, no matter how crazy. The idea of Pathday is to foster independent thinking in a scientific safe space as early as possible.

This year, Pathday was kicked off by the arrival of meme-Santa! 🎅 Unlike the classic Secret Santa, this version swaps out gifts for memes. Each participant anonymously dedicates a meme to someone they’ve drawn, highlighting a character trait or memorable moment associated with that person — all in good humor and with respect, of course. Meme-Santa masterpieces are available upon request 😜.
