Hosting the Bar-Even Symposium 2024

This year, the Lindlich Lab had the honour to host the yearly Bar-Even Symposium at Charité Campus Mitte in Berlin. For 3 days, past members of the Bar-Even research group gathered with friends and colleagues to discuss past projects, future ideas, as well as societal challenges and industrial application of Synthetic Metabolism.
The event ended with a Bar-Even style party on Friday lasting far into the night. The next Bar-Even Symposium will take place in fall 2025 hosted by the group of Nico Claassens in Wageningen, Netherlands.
